Emerald City Comicon: “Motion Books and the Evolution of Storytelling” by Liam Sharp

Artist/writer Liam Sharp (Judge Dredd, X-Men, Spawn) shows how his current venture, Madefire, is bringing original and licensed properties to life as digital motion books in his talk, “Motion Books and the Evolution of Storytelling.”

The panel was part of the inaugural Comics and Digital Culture Series, presented by the University of Washington Communications Leadership (Comm Lead) Graduate Program and Emerald City Comicon. The event also featured talks from Ted Adams (Publisher/CEO of IDW Publishing), Allison Baker (co-publisher, Monkeybrain Comics), and Yen Yen Woo and Colin Goh (educators and co-creators, Dim Sum Warriors), and was moderated by Comm Lead faculty Rob Salkowitz.
